Course Dates:
Session 1: March 16 – 22, Application Deadline February 16
Session 2: March 30 – April 3, Application Deadline February 27

The course is open to CSU/OSI students/staff/faculty and SCMI consortium members. Unaffiliated candidates, actively engaged in research (as a student, researcher or volunteer) are accepted on a space-available basis.

Applicants for the CSU/OSI MOTC will be considered on a first come, first served basis in the following order:

  • CSU Ocean Studies Institute Graduate Students and Staff
  • CSU Catalina Semester Students
  • CSU Ocean Studies Institute Undergraduate Students
  • SCMI Consortium Member Students and Staff
  • Other Qualified Applicants

Other$500All other qualified applicants participate on a “space available” basis. If your organization is interested in scheduling a course for their staff on contract basis, please contact the SCMI office.

Please Note: when conducting cooperative training with other SBSA Institutional Members, CSU/OSI will waive course fees for candidates if the home institution provides a qualified instructor and vessel
